London Area, United Kingdom Consumer Additions and Consumer Exec Full time

Consumer Additions are partnering with an international luxury travel business, who are recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team, initially on a 6 month contract basis.

This role will be responsible for overseeing critical financial accounting, reporting, and control processes and will play a key role in both the operational and strategic financial leadership of the company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly close process, delivering timely and accurate management accounts
  • Prepare and review critical reconciliations and profit & loss analyses.
  • Oversee the management of the fixed assets register and villa rental accounting processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for the annual UK statutory audit and manage relationships with external auditors.
  • Build expertise in business operations across key international markets, supporting local teams with compliance and transaction processing.
  • Own the weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting processes, providing in-depth analysis and insights to the team.
  • Drive the budget preparation and quarterly reforecasting cycles for select areas.
  • Lead finance transformation and treasury strategy initiatives, implementing effective internal control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with EU regulatory requirements and UK tax obligations, including VAT and corporate tax filings.


Candidate Profile

  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent), with experience in industry or a top 10 audit practice.
  • Strong communication abilities, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced knowledge of key functions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to balance deadlines and quality output.
  • Flexible, hands-on approach and highly organized.
