Job Description:

UCC Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a background as either an architect or extensive experience in VIP construction projects. Reporting directly to the Regional Director for UK and Europe, the Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our construction projects across the UK. This role requires hands-on involvement on-site to ensure the quality of work meets the highest standards. The successful candidate will be the eyes on-site for the Regional Director, evaluating the quality of work and ensuring adherence to project specifications. Additionally, knowledge of AutoCAD and Design, as well as QA/QC, will be essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of project safety, budget, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage project teams and ensure efficient utilization of resources, with a hands-on approach on-site.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate with upper management and other departments to align project scope and direction.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive plans for logistics, plant, machinery, and vehicles.
  • Implement and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans and quality control procedures.
  • Coordinate project activities with architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure the quality of work meets appropriate standards.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of project progress and provide updates to the Regional Director.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Design knowledge for project evaluation and coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and standards throughout the project lifecycle.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with supervising consultants to establish deliverables, inspections, close-out procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Evaluate project disruptions, determine entitlements, and manage associated claims.
  • Maintain awareness of project costs and profitability, and strategize major project activities accordingly.
  • Possess technical knowledge in design and building construction systems.
  • Utilize ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, for effective project management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in project management, with a background in architecture or VIP construction projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
