The United Kingdom is a key market for Verisure, one of the world’s largest home alarm providers. With strong growth potential, the company is set to expand penetration in high-potential areas. Acting as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and the Management Team, the Chief of Staff will lead key projects to drive Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation throughout the UK.

Vacancy: Chief of Staff – UK

Verisure has been active in the UK market since 2015, achieving 50% year-on-year growth. This expansion is especially evident in its workforce, which has grown from 200 to 1,500 employees in just five years. Still, there is tremendous untapped market potential, and the company is fully focused on unlocking this growth. As the right hand to the UK Managing Director, the Chief of Staff will drive transformational projects that will shape the future of Verisure in the UK. The role is based in London or Newcastle, where Verisure has its main UK offices. The Chief of Staff will travel regularly between the two locations to ensure close collaboration and alignment across both sites.


Recently, Verisure has made substantial investments in its UK future, bringing in a wave of strong leadership talent. The Management Team is almost entirely new, with Edouard Rekko recently stepping in as Managing Director for the UK after six successful years on Verisure’s Management Team in the Netherlands and then as Managing Director in Belgium. A McKinsey alumnus himself, he has guided several Chiefs of Staff with strategic consulting backgrounds toward impactful next steps within the organization. This clear focus on the UK market underscores the company’s commitment to seizing the region’s many growth opportunities, with the Chief of Staff playing an instrumental role in driving this success.


Strategic skills and hands-on mentality

This highly visible, multidisciplinary position requires both strategic skills and a hands-on mentality. The Chief of Staff will take ownership of designing, rolling out and end-to-end delivery of multiple crucial projects, including developing go-to-market strategies, deepening industry and market understanding, crafting marketing initiatives, implementing best practices, and driving operational effectiveness to expand reach and increase brand awareness throughout the UK.

Proactive and solution-oriented, the Chief of Staff is focused on enhancing business value. As an excellent communicator, they confidently manage multicultural teams and complex processes with empathy and maturity. Skilled in fostering buy-in with key stakeholders, they ensure alignment on strategic objectives and enable effective operational execution across the organization.
