Key Responsibilities for a Senior Project Manager:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for, with a focus on global template delivery.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for SGB, fostering strong relationships and addressing our needs throughout the project.
  • Setting clear goals, providing direction, and empowering team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Conveying ideas, goals, and expectations to team members, stakeholders, and other project stakeholders. This includes both verbal and written communication, as well as active listening.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, articulate project goals, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, working to prevent potential issues that may impact project success.


Key Skills for a Senior Project Manager:

  • Significant demonstrable experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Experience in managing SAP projects would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and client engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyse data, and develop solutions.
  • Proactive in anticipating potential problems and implementing pre-emptive measures.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
