The Role


Due to growth on site and an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join Marshall Motor Group and lead our Used sales team at our Audi Dealership based in Bexley. This role will see you use your sales management experience to lead the team in delivering good outcomes for our customers.

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading automotive group whilst representing an amazing brand. You will help to oversee a team of 14 Sales Execs and 4 x Transaction Managers, the team oversee both New and Used Vehicle Sales. We are looking for someone to drive the Used Sales team and Business forward. Must have previous experience in budgeting and forecasts

What will I do?


  • Manage the Used Vehicle stock to ensure it is prepared and advertised within a timely manner
  • Managing and meeting the manufacturer standards.
  • Managing the Sales Executives and Transaction Managers.
  • Motivating the team to deliver good outcomes for customers as well as achieving weekly sales targets on vehicles, finance and insurance products
  • Liaising with customers, both face-to-face and by phone/email, Dealing with customer complaints in an efficient and effective manner
  • Working to promote vehicles and services on offer in the dealership and online
  • Ensuring excellent customer service that results in good customer outcomes is consistently recognised in high customer satisfaction index scores
  • Collating finance proposals for customers which are in the best interests of the customer


What do I need?


To be successful in this role, you will have previous sales management experience within the automotive industry and with main dealership experience. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve both quality & quantity goals
