At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are seeking a Exterior Trim Plant Support Engineer to join our automotive engineering team in Gaydon, UK.


Main functions to develop:

  • Resolve exterior component issues for new vehicles.
  • Propose and implement cost-effective improvements with OEMs.
  • Clarify product requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Review engineering documentation with relevant departments for a clean release.
  • Provide suppliers with technical data for mass production and ensure timely delivery.
  • Attend customer meetings to manage and implement updates quickly.
  • Organize weekly supplier meetings and track open issues.
  • Support production by addressing build issues and coordinating resolutions.
  • Act as the main contact for the CAD design team, guiding and updating them on open topics.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive sector.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • The position is for UK, mobility availability is mandatory.
