Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at sourcing high-quality English Cheddar Cheese. If you're a decisive, results-driven professional with a passion for clean-label ingredients, we want to hear from you.

  1. Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, negotiate, and secure high-quality English Cheddar cheese suppliers.
  2. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet our strict quality standards and specifications.
  3. Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, pricing, and market shifts.
  4. Inventory & Demand Planning: Manage stock levels, rotations, and demand forecasts.
  5. Cost Management: Deliver cost-effective purchasing solutions while maintaining quality and sustainability.
  6. Product Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams on NPD and EPD initiatives.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all products meet food safety, labelling, and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in sourcing and purchasing Cheddar Cheese.
  • Strong cost control and negotiation skills.
  • High-speed decision-making with meticulous attention to detail.
  • BRCGS certification.
  • ERP software proficiency.
  • Bilingual (Dutch, French, or German is a plus).
