Role Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and performance-driven Senior Copywriter to develop and execute persuasive copy across all channels. As a key member of the Growth Team, you will be responsible for writing content that enhances the customer journey, strengthens our brand voice, and supports our marketing campaigns.

Your expertise in direct-to-consumer (D2C) copywriting will be instrumental in creating high-impact messaging that resonates with our target audience, drives sales, and supports the overall growth strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for a variety of platforms, including website landing pages, product descriptions, email campaigns, paid ads, and blog articles.
  • Brand Voice: Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all content, maintaining Free Soul’s tone and style while adapting to different channels and audiences.
  • Campaign Development: Collaborate with the Growth Team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. This includes writing copy for email sequences, promotional materials, and ad creatives.
  • SEO Optimisation: Create SEO-friendly content that drives organic traffic and improves search engine rankings. Optimise existing content based on performance data and keyword research.
  • A/B Testing: Work with the Growth Team to develop and execute A/B tests for different copy variations, using data-driven insights to optimise conversion rates and overall campaign performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, brand and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment across all customer touchpoints.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to continually refine and enhance our copy strategies.
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies that align with the broader growth objectives, ensuring that all copy supports the company's goals and resonates with the target audience.


Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably within a D2C or e-commerce environment.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in creating high-converting copy for various channels, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience in writing content optimised for search engines.
  • Creativity: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling stories and persuasive messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt tone and style to different formats and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
