Our client is leading private markets investment manager, with a strong presence in private equity, secondaries, credit, and infrastructure. They are seeking an ambitious and self-driven candidate to join their Client & Product Solutions team. This role is focused on developing and implementing private market fund offerings across the firm’s investment strategies, along with ongoing product enhancement and innovation. With a growing global network and significant assets under management, this firm offers a unique opportunity to leverage global resources and make a real impact in the market.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, documentation, financial forecasting, and deployment of new and existing funds across the business's alternatives offering.
  • Manage the definition, development and delivery of a strategy which ensures products are launched and maintained according to the Product Development Model and Lifecycle framework.
  • Conduct industry research into peer offerings and establishing innovative perspectives from regulatory and investor demand viewpoints. Undertaking regular analysis of customer, industry and regulatory activity, considering where strategic changes may be required.
  • Keep abreast of industry and competitor innovations in the Product space.
  • Manage projects related to the establishment of new funds as well as updates to enhance product features and adapt to regulatory changes and governance.
  • Financial modelling of fund platforms and conducting appropriate sensitivity analysis.


Requirements:

  • CFA /ACA or equivalent are preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience within the financial services industry or asset management. Ideally this will be in a Product Strategy/ Development/ Management role.
  • Experience with alternative products is preferred.
  • Pro-active and eager to take on new challenges. Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail.
  • Practical knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS, European fund range product strategy, development and management.
  • Proficiency in liaising effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders, including investment teams, sales, legal, operations, compliance, tax, finance, and risk departments, as well as both internal and external parties.
