Oracle HCM Functional Support Analyst

Broster Buchanan are partnered with a global leader in the medical diagnostics field who are currently in the midst of a very exciting global Oracle HCM implementation, and are looking for a number of Oracle HCM specialists with 2 Functional Support Analysts and 1 Functional Support Lead to join and help with the advanced technical support, functional guidance and testing of the solution. This role would suit someone with a strong background with Oracle HCM implementations, ideally on enterprise scales across multiple countries, with exposure to some or all of the Core HR, Absence Management, Talent Management and Oracle Guided Learning modules.


These roles will be on a hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite in their central London office and the rest remote, with an occasional need to travel internationally. On offer is a salary of £50k - £75k for the Analyst role and £60k - £85k for the Lead role + up to 20% annual bonus.


Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot complex functional issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud, including Core HR, Absence Management, Talent Management, and Oracle Guided Learning.
  • Prioritise and resolve support tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on end-users.
  • Investigate and identify the root cause of functional issues to prevent recurrence.
  • Create and update functional documentation, including user guides, process flows, and training materials.
  • Work closely with global support teams, development teams, and business analysts to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new features and functionalities.
  • Contribute to global implementation and upgrade projects, providing functional expertise and support.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve support processes and enhance user experience.
  • Share knowledge and expertise to develop the skills of the support team.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Efficiently manage a high volume of support tickets, prioritising critical issues and meeting SLAs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Requirements:


  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management Application functionality including Core HR, Absence Management, Talent Management Compensation and Performance Mgt) and Oracle Guided Learning.
  • Strong Functional expertise covering all Oracle SaaS Applications supporting technologies such as Workflow, HCM Export, HDL, APIs and Cloud Security
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud Applications not currently implemented such as ORC, Learning Management etc is also desirable
  • Ability to be hands-on, resolving Level 2 and Level 3 support tickets
  • Previous experience of regression testing Oracle Quarterly release upgrades
  • Strong Support Team and people management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Produce Weekly Status Reporting including key performance indicators
  • Building and maintaining strong internal relationship with IT and HR communities along with external suppliers is essential.
