About the role

You’ll focus on building a warm, engaged talent pool, attracting high-calibre candidates, while providing a seamless experience for both candidates and businesses as part of our network. This role is a fantastic growth opportunity for an Agency Recruiter seeking their first internal recruitment, or a Mortgage Adviser looking to transition into a new challenge with transferable skills to a career in recruitment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively approach Mortgage Adviser candidates using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Build a strong, engaged pipeline of candidates to sustain warm engagement for future vacancies.
  • Ensure a high-quality experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and hiring managers, to gain a deep understanding of the business needs.
  • Providing regular updates on recruitment activities and candidate progress, supporting the business with negotiations at offer stage and maintain candidate communication throughout pre-boarding and onboarding.
  • Develop and deliver social media strategies with engaging content to promote the brand and business culture, e.g. videos.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities where relevant.
  • Conduct initial Teams/phone screening calls, assessments, and interviews, ensuring candidates align with the skills, person specification and company culture to meet the business needs.


About You

  • 360 Recruitment experience either in an agency or internal setting, or strong Mortgage Advisory background.
  • CRM/ATS system experience to manage candidate pipelines.
  • Strong relationship and rapport building skills.
  • Able to demonstrate influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • A collaborative nature who works well as part of a team to achieve collective goals.
  • Passion to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.
  • Ambition and drive for personal and business success.
  • Able to manage a fluctuating workload, prioritising urgent needs effectively.
  • Experience in using a CRM (customer relationship management) or ATS (applicant tracking systems).


Desirable

Ideally experienced in using LinkedIn Recruiter to source candidates, though this can be learnt.

Ideally CeMAP-qualified or willing to obtain qualification.
