The Opportunity:

As a Senior Consultant, you will play an integral role in contributing to the success of the business; executing the firm's strategic vision and developing the Pricing and Market Access business unit.


Responsibilities:

Project Leadership / Delivery:

  • Extends end-to-end project management responsibilities to Project Leadership; responsible for oversight of delivery (strategy to implementation); project outputs and the allocation of resources.
  • Proactively and effectively managing changes in project-scope and potential challenges/obstacles; identifying and resolving conflicts and issues within project teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants with skillsets aligned to industry needs / trends - foster a collaborative environment.

Client Engagement / Thought Leadership:

  • Build and cultivate strong client relationships; responsible for client, vendor and stakeholder engagement; understands client needs, proactively navigates challenges, and provides strategic solutions to meet objectives.
  • Delivers Primary Research with KOLs and Payers to inform project outputs, and actively participate in thought leadership to promote an awareness of market trends, conduct competitor analyses, and stay informed of industry developments to inform investment decisions.

Business Development:

  • Actively drives and contributes to Business Development; supports in the generation of new business development opportunities; including the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of services with existing clients.
  • Leverages network/relationships with industry stakeholders to support sales of consulting solutions.
  • Support the operations that drive growth and maintain the sales efficiency process.
  • Coach and mentors internally to identify, win, and deliver new / existing consulting opportunities.



Qualifications:

Academic Requirements:

  • BSc, MD, or a Masters / PhD in Life Sciences related subject, or an MBA.
  • 5+ Years' experience in Strategy, Management Consulting or Industry; with a dedicated focus and background on Healthcare and Life Sciences; (i.e., Pharma, Biopharma, Biotech and Medical Device).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; (experience in computer programming software (e.g., VBA) or other role-related software (e.g., EndNote, statistical packages) is an asset.


Pricing / Market Access Experience:

  • Expertise in Pricing, Reimbursement and Global Market Access, with therapy-area-specific knowledge for EU and US; (i.e., CGT, Rare/Ultra-Rare and Orphan Diseases, Oncology).
  • Pricing Strategy and Analysis.
  • rNPV, eNPV and Health Economic Modelling.
  • KOL and Payer Negotiation.
  • Pricing, Market Access Landscaping.
  • Epidemiology Analysis.


Inter-Personal Characteristics:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical-level thinking; (i.e., Intuition, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), and Ideation prowess).
