Our client, a renowned global leader in the tech industry, is currently seeking an Android Developer to join their mobile team. If you have a passion for building innovative applications and want to work with cutting-edge technologies, then this position is perfect for you


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product and design teams to create exceptional Android application experiences.
  • Develop custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques.
  • Drive innovation and develop solutions for the Meta Quest Platform in Virtual Reality.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in object-oriented software development.
  • Expertise in Android application development using Kotlin/Java and the Android SDK.
  • Strong ability to build maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing.
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects and driving change within an organisation.
  • Experience in multithreading programming and mobile memory management.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with React Native.
  • Previous development experience on the Meta Quest Platform.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
