Senior Authorised Person - Offshore Wind - UK - 12 month contract -Outside IR35 - ASAP


I am looking to fill a 66kV Senior Authorised Person position for one of my clients. We are looking for this person to start ASAP. The client is open to considering 33kV Senior Authorised Persons or 66kV Authorised Persons.


The project offers a 2/2 rotation on a CTV and the successful person will be responsible for carrying O&M activities out on the wind farm. My client offers opportunities for progression and opportunity to achieve higher authorisations. There is also scope to move across to other projects.


Responsibilities

  • Safely manage high-voltage (HV) switching procedures in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Carry out maintenance duties on 66kV turbines.
  • Serve as a Senior Authorised Person/HV Specialist at substations during work tasks.
  • Aid in HV Control Room activities.
  • Overseeing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of high and low voltage systems within the Wind Farm.
  • Ensure safety for work crews by overseeing the HV/LV Network.
  • Provide reporting and standby cover for Operations Site Management.
  • Coordinate operational and safety procedures with National Grid.
  • Conduct electrical isolations, earthing, and switching for both high-voltage and low-voltage networks.


Qualifications

  • Previous authorisations under the client's safety rules
  • Full GWO
  • Chester Step
  • 33kV Senior Authorised Person, 66kV Senior Authorised Person or 66kV Authorised Person or HV Specialist
