Summary of a Trainee Administrator

To provide administrative support to the team ensuring the overall smooth running of the office. You will be joining a small office of three people, so you will need to be self-motivated and ask for help when needed. We are looking for an individual who is confident, has a good attitude and is a team player. You will need to be flexible, trustworthy and reliable. Full training will be provided on all responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities of an Administration Assistant

  • Process internal/external communication (post/fax/emails)
  • Processing orders on a daily basis
  • Dealing with incoming calls
  • Inputting information on Sage/Act (experience is not necessary)
  • Tracking shipments
  • Making sure invoices have been received by customers
  • Filing both manual and electronic
  • General Administrative duties
  • Receive visitors to the office
  • Undertake from time to time other duties that may be considered in keeping with the job description
