About the Role
My client are a professional Engineering business working with the local water authority to make important improvements which will benefit the local community and the environment.
In this role, you will oversee the safe execution of planned site outages, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will coordinate with operational and delivery teams to facilitate installation and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management: Develop, implement, and monitor safety plans; conduct risk assessments; manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
Operational Control: Coordinate and schedule work to minimize risks during planned outages.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations; maintain accurate documentation.
Communication and Coordination: Liaise with stakeholders; conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Competency Management: Ensure only qualified personnel perform high-risk tasks.
Environmental Protection: Minimize environmental impact during operations, especially in sensitive areas.
About You
Extensive experience in the water industry.
Proven ability to manage large teams in a multi-supplier environment.
Strong understanding of construction contract law and water quality standards.
