The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property maintenance operations, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent organisational skills, and a deep understanding of property maintenance processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all properties under management.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess property conditions and identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations to minimise disruption to tenants and maximise efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures, optimising resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment inventory.
- Collaborate with property managers, tenants, and other stakeholders to address maintenance concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Proven experience in property maintenance management, ideally from a joiner background.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and building codes applicable to property maintenance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
