Working hours - 4 on 4 off shift pattern 6.30am - 6.30pm
Manpower has the opportunity for an Assembly Mechanic to join the team at our Client site based in Feltham. During peak times you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery and their components.
Working as part of an established team you will identify machinery parts for replacement, placing the orders when needed before fitting them ensuring the machines run correctly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions accurately, previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
Role Responsibilities
Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders, as necessary.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of speciality.
May require related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgement.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Please note all candidates must pass a drugs and alcohol and DBS Check screening prior to starting on-site.
