As part of an ongoing journey of groeth and innovation, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to join them on their impressive trajectory.
This opportunity will see you leading the facility in Sheffield, ensuring consistent performance levels across logistics, production, quality, and health and safety are met. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our client's high standards and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Oversee the efficient movement of materials and finished products, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
*
Manage daily production activities, manage workflow, and ensure that targets are met.
*
Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain product excellence and compliance with industry standards.
*
Work with the EHS Manager to develop and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
*
Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive work culture and resolving internal conflicts effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
*
A degree in engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in an engineering environment.
*
Proven ability to manage people, with strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution capabilities.
*
Comprehensive understanding of site operations, including logistics, production processes, quality control, and health and safety standards.
*
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
On offer is a salary of up to c. £50,000 DOE plus an excellent wider benefits package
