Job Description: As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be the primary point of contact for all site-related activities, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
* Coordinate and supervise site personnel and subcontractors
* Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports
* Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
* Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure all work is completed to specification
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on site
* Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules
* Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the commercial, industrial, educational, retail/leisure, and community sectors
* Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
* First Aid at Work certification
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety procedures
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software
* Full UK driving license
