Job Description :

Skillcrown is seeking a dynamic and motivated Trainee Land Buyer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to kick-start their career in land acquisition and property development. As a Trainee Land Buyer, you will work closely with our experienced Land and Development Director to identify, evaluate and secure land for residential development.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in identifying potential land acquisition opportunities through research, networking and market analysis.
  • Conduct site visits and assess the suitability of sites for development.
  • Support the preparation of financial appraisals and feasibility studies.
  • Liaise with landowners, agents, local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and conditions for land acquisitions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all land opportunities and transactions.
  • Support the planning application process by coordinating with internal and external teams.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, local planning policies and market conditions.


Requirements :

  • A keen interest in property development and the residential market.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • A valid UK driving license is desirable.
