About the Client:
Our client is a vibrant firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Managers specializing in Music and Entertainment. One of the guiding principles of Hardwick & Morris is a willingness to subvert the hierarchical nature of many accountancy firms. They are looking for a manager or senior manager to join their exciting team.

They listen to their clients and provide them with what they want, at the same time as fulfilling their statutory and legal needs. To meet the demands of the modern music industry, they see their business expanding even further. They are looking to employ greater numbers of staff during this period of growth.
Role and responsibilities
* Review and production of management accounts, personal and corporate tax returns
* Set-up of accounting reporting packs for new clients
* Approving of supplier and employee payment runs
* Preparation and review of statutory accounts
* Preparing and filing VAT returns
* Production and advice on monthly cash flows
* Managing staff
* Answering client queries and advising on specific accounting matters
* Consultancy projects including forecasting and planning
Person Requirements:
* Familiarity with UK reporting requirements and the business tax environment
* Advanced Excel skills
* Previous experience with Media and Music Clients.
* Experience in the preparation of management & statutory accounts
* Experienced at reviewing management accounts analytically
* Confident, self-starter who can work on their own initiative
* Highly developed interpersonal and client liaison skills - strong team player
* Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to tight deadlines
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
