Multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Our client, one of the Scotland’s premier manufacturers of food products is looking for an experienced, professional Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work within their manufacturing facility in the Nairn area. The key to this role is ability to work within a fast-moving production and manufacturing company within the food production industry maintaining and fault finding on a range of electrical production equipment and also the facility.
The Role
This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all electrical/Mechanical equipment within our client’s facility. Knowledge of electrical equipment, drives, motors, pumps, controls and if possible, some PLC experience is required. The role requires applicants who has reactive and proactive maintenance and repair experience as well as fault finding experience of Pumps, motors, drives, VSD, VFD and if possible, some PLC experience for a variety of production equipment. Mechanical exposure to things like pneumatics, hydraulics, heat exchangers etc would be ideal. (the engineer should be electrical but not afraid to work on some of the mechanical equipment with the other engineer)
The Person
Applicants will preferably have present or previous electrical/Mechanical maintenance and repair experience. Applicant with PLC fault finding experience would be ideal. Applicants should be suitably qualified qualified but knowledge and experience will out weight qualification, the role requires applicants to work along-side the production shift which is from 6am -6pm and will ideally help to cover these peak times with the other engineer (this can be worked out between you and will allow a good period of time for crossover).
