My client is a dynamic and expanding company specializing in Facilities Management, with over 25 years of experience in this field. We are dedicated to providing compliant and cost-effective solutions in this specialized market.
Due to continuous growth, my client currently has an opening for an enthusiastic and dedicated Electrician to handle various planned and reactive tasks for clients primarily located in Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical remedial work, fault finding, and repair of existing equipment.
Think strategically, with confidence and assertiveness.
Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to meet client expectations.
Prioritize workloads effectively.
Maintain a flexible attitude and remain calm under pressure.
Provide excellent client service.
Be proficient in using computer software systems.
Duties of the Electrician:
Conduct reactive maintenance for electrical breakdowns, diagnose and repair issues, perform new installations, and complete PPM tasks and documentation.
Participate in a 24/7 out-of-hours on-call rota to provide round-the-clock breakdown support to customers.
Collaborate with the electrical team to develop a robust service and maintenance division.
Requirements of the Electrician:
IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition certification.
Experience in electrical remedial work, fault finding, and repair of existing equipment.
Knowledge of controls is beneficial but not essential.
Well-presented with excellent communication skills.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a keen interest in career progression.
Ability to understand and follow the organisation's procedures and policies.
Ability to follow instructions and seek guidance when necessary.
A full UK Driving Licence.
