Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead a skilled Development Team of 3-5 engineers spread across the UK, fostering innovation and excellence in multi-technology renewable energy system development.
Project Management: Take charge of complex projects, ensuring they meet commercial, environmental, quality, and safety standards, with a focus on sustainability and de-carbonisation.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with large commercial and industrial clients to understand and anticipate their renewable energy and sustainability needs.
Budget Oversight: Manage project development budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with sustainability goals.
Feasibility & Design: Oversee the creation of effective, commercially viable de-carbonisation proposals, utilizing multiple renewable technologies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including Commercial, Procurement, Legal, Design, and Project Management, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Health & Safety: Uphold and promote health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with legislation and corporate goals.
What We're Looking For:
A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Materials, or Chemical Engineering (B.Eng./M.Eng./MSC) or equivalent experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations, Industry Standards (CIBSE, British Standards, ISO), and the process/building services industry.
Proven experience in developing detailed Project Development reports for Industrial & Commercial Energy Solutions, with a strong focus on renewable energy, sustainability, and de-carbonisation.
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to health and safety management.
