Laser Operator

The Recruitment Group are looking for a Laser Operator with Trumpf TruLaser 1030 based in Loughborough.  Our client is a fast growing company with big ambitions with a dedication to service their customers at the very highest level.  We are looking for a Laser Operator who is an experienced and passionate individual with a can do attitude to join the team.  If you are interested in the Laser Operative role, then please read below.  Please note that this is a temp to perm role.
Pay for the Laser Operator – temp to perm
Up to £17.26 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
Monday – Thursday – 7.30am to 4.30pm
Friday – 730am to 3.30pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
To set laser cutting fixtures
To perform laser cutting operations of the components manufactured
To check laser cut components to drawing specifications
Maintain standard of all fixtures associated with Laser process
Keep equipment operational by completing autonomous maintenance and calibration requirements
Other duties as assigned, requested or needed
Skills & Experience:
Proven track record in a Laser operating position
Trumpf TruLaser 1030 experience of at least 1 year
Basic understanding of lean principles (5S) is desirable.
Experience of working to production targets is essential.
