PR & Influencer Account Director (Maternity Cover)

You are a PR Account Director with 8+ years of agency experience open to taking on a fixed term role where you can manage the PR and comms strategies of household name retail brands and destinations (and some up and coming brands too). You’re experienced in, and passionate about, both B2B and B2C PR and you’re looking to use and develop these skills in an agency where your talent will be recognised and appreciated.
We are a Marlow-based Integrated Marketing agency on the lookout for a creative but detail-oriented Account Director to provide maternity cover for one of our PR ADs. Someone who lives locally, leads by example and delivers results.

What do PR Account Directors at BWP do?
Our PR ADs take ultimate accountability of their team, work, accounts and client relationships. You’ll have responsibility for:
Campaign leadership
- Leading your team to develop and implement creative and effective PR and influencer strategies that drive brand awareness and communicate our clients’ key messages.
Campaign management
- Working closely with the internal marketing, digital and creative teams to ensure the smooth running and effective delivery of our PR and comms, ensuring all committed timings and KPIs are met and meeting the scope of work.
Client relationship management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring BWP are seen as a valued and respected extension of our clients’ teams.
People management and development
- First ensuring that we get the basics right and then encouraging your team to push the boundaries, do different and produce better work/results. Providing the mentoring and support they need to develop and grow in their PR careers.
Growing accounts and winning new ones
- Identifying improvements and opportunities for growth and converting business.
- Please note * Our PR team are not responsible for delivering social PR campaigns. Our dedicated social team take the lead on that. So if social PR is your background and passion, you may wish to pursue other roles instead.
What do I need to showcase in my CV to stand out?
We’re looking for a multi-skilled PR professional with 8+ years of demonstrable PR experience (with at least 5 years of that being within an agency).
Experience of both B2B *and* B2C PR is essential given the nature of the clients you’ll be working with. Experience working in the retail, fashion, lifestyle and/or commercial property sectors will also stand you in good stead
