Weighbridge Operator

Swanstaff Ltd are looking for a weighbridge Operator to work for our client based in Gravesend, DA13.
The successful applicant will ensure that all vehicles carrying waste or recyclables are weighed on entering and exiting the facility in accordance with all Group policies, and in compliance with all statutory regulations and requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* To operate the weighbridge systems in accordance with the Duty of Care regulations, waste management permit and Group policies & procedures, and maintain reliable, adequate and accurate records thereof.
* To be courteous to customers at all times.
* To assist customers wherever safe, practical and necessary.
* To provide accurate information regarding volumes of waste and recyclables held on site to haulage contractors.
* To ensure that all drivers that report to the weighbridge receive site rules
* Ensure the area around the weighbridge office is kept clean and tidy and that records of their issue are maintained.
Previous weighbridge/waste experience that would include Waste Duty of Care knowledge and an understanding of Hazardous Waste Consignment notes would be a very distinct advantage.
You will need your own vehicle due to the remote location of the client.
