About Us:
Stafflex Education partners with secondary schools across Huddersfield, Kirklees, Calderdale, and Wakefield. We are actively seeking adaptable Cover Supervisors / Instructors for flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term assignments starting in September 2024.
Your Role:
As a Cover Supervisor / Instructor, you will:
Maintain Continuity: Manage classrooms during short-term teacher absences to ensure students stay focused on their tasks.
Implement Policies: Effectively enforce school policies and procedures.
Support Students: Address student queries, manage behaviour, and create a positive learning environment.
Provide Guidance: Support students across various subjects and offer general academic assistance.
Full Classroom Control: Take full control of the class, covering a teacher's timetable for any subject.Strong behaviour management is essential for this role to effectively handle diverse classroom scenarios and maintain a productive learning environment. This role is perfect for individuals considering a teaching career or seeking valuable classroom experience.

Educational Experience: Recent experience within an educational setting.
Qualifications: Minimum of Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

Passion for Education: Committed to making a positive impact on student learning.
Comprehensive CV: Covering your employment history for the past 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
Compliance: Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), adhering to safeguarding policies.
