Crypto Options Trader

Salary Range: £95k - £145k + Bonus

We are actively seeking a Crypto Options Trader to join a growing European based Asset Manager / Trading firm. You will be joining a growing team of traders and engineers as they look to continue their success in existing markets as well as entering new ones. You will be joining a team who have the sharpest minds in the trading industry.

Responsibilities:nOptions Trading: Execute options trades across various cryptocurrency exchanges, including buying and selling options contracts based on market analysis and trading strategies.nMarket Analysis: Monitor cryptocurrency market trends, news, and developments to identify trading opportunities and risks associated with options trading.nRisk Management: Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses, including position sizing, setting stop-loss orders, and managing portfolio volatility.nStrategy Development: Develop and implement options trading strategies tailored to the cryptocurrency market environment, including delta-neutral strategies, volatility trades, and arbitrage opportunities.nTrade Execution: Execute trades efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely order placement and execution in accordance with trading strategies and risk parameters.nPortfolio Management: Monitor and manage options positions, including portfolio rebalancing, assessing profit and loss, and optimizing portfolio performance.nCollaboration: Collaborate with research analysts, developers, and other traders to develop and refine options trading strategies, analyze market data, and stay informed about market trends.nReporting: Prepare regular reports on trading performance, including profit and loss analysis, risk metrics, and key insights for senior management and stakeholders.nYou will be expected to cover weekends, evenings, and US time zones, as crypto markets are 24/7. Qualifications:nBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.nStrong understanding of options trading principles, strategies, and market dynamics.nKnowledge of cryptocurrency markets and digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other major cryptocurrencies.nPrevious experience in options trading, cryptocurrency trading, or financial derivatives essential.nPrevious experience with RFQnProficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, Python, or R.nExcellent quantitative and analytical skills, with attention to detail.nAbility to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced trading environment.nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.nUnderstanding of risk management principles and trading strategies specific to options trading.nKnowledge of regulatory frameworks governing cryptocurrency trading is a plus.
