Mobile Engineer (Senior to Staff Level)


We’re seeking a talented Mobile Engineer on behalf of our client, an innovative leader in e-commerce logistics. They’re reshaping how delivery operates, building a dynamic, adaptable platform that meets the demands of modern e-commerce in the UK and beyond.


At the heart of their tech stack is a powerful courier app that makes it simple for drivers to take on jobs, optimise routes, and earn effectively. This is a unique opportunity to help expand and refine this essential tool, impacting a rapidly growing team of couriers who rely on it every day.


Whilst the app is built in Flutter, only a willingness to learn/work with Flutter is essential. They are looking for broadly skilled Engineers with a deep knowledge of mobile (across any platform incl. Flutter, iOS, Android or React Native) who are also experienced and interested to work across the wider stack from API Development to Data Infrastructure.


The Role:

  • Engage across a diverse technology stack, from mobile interfaces to backend data structures, creating solutions that drive real-world logistics.
  • Lead full-lifecycle projects, such as implementing machine vision for delivery verification and optimising user experiences.
  • Work closely with teams across the company, fostering collaboration in a fast-paced, open environment.
  • Participate in field visits, gaining insights into how your work supports couriers and customers directly.


The Right Fit:

  • Have strong mobile engineering expertise but enjoy solving challenges across the full stack.
  • Are hands-on and flexible, comfortable working across different aspects of development, from front-end tweaks to building backend APIs.
  • Take ownership of your work, are proactive, and look for opportunities to drive impact.
  • Value feedback from end-users and team members, working actively to enhance their experience.
  • Are curious and open to learning new technologies while emphasising collaboration and clear communication.


Ideally you'll have:

  • Have at least four years of experience in high-performing software teams, with a broad technical background.
  • Are excited to work with Flutter (previous experience is not required).
  • Have experience in startup environments or early-stage teams (a plus, though not required).
