Web Manager Opportunity


This is a unique opportunity to join a multi-channel business with routes to market in retail, fine wine, and trade, based in London.


Position Overview:


As a Web Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our clients' Magento-based website. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless functionality, driving continuous improvement & performance analysis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain multiple Magento-based websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to implement website enhancements, updates, and new features.
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits of websites to ensure compliance with best practices, SEO standards, and industry regulations.
  • Managing all web development projects from start to finish, making sure the websites foundation is built correctly and on time.
  • Working within Magento software for the website build, maintenance, and performance.
  • Make sure there is web security in place to prevent cyberattacks, hackers etc where relevant (AV Testing)


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in the industry is required
  • Proven experience developing Magento-based e-commerce websites.
  • Strong understanding of Magento/Adobe Software, database structure, and customisation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools, SEO best practices, and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
