Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons to students aged 11-16.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons to students of all abilities.
Monitor and assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is being delivered effectively.
Contribute to the development of the PE department.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
Essential Criteria
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the PE curriculum.
Experience of teaching PE at secondary level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Criteria
Experience of leading a PE department.
Experience of teaching GCSE and/or A-Level PE.
A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in PE or a related subject.
