Typical day as a Senior Occupational Therapist

  • Dive into assessing and managing a variety of complex occupational performance needs for our fabulous customers.
  • Craft and deliver personalised interventions and skills development programmes that really hit the mark.
  • Infuse an active support culture, working closely with our stellar support workers on person-centred plans.
  • Team up with the registered manager to help steer the overall development of the service.
  • Jump into multi-disciplinary meetings, sharing your expert advice and bright ideas with colleagues.
  • Play a key role in service improvements and audits, ensuring were always at the top of our game.

You bring

  • Current registration to practise as an Occupational Therapist with the HCPC (of course).
  • A wealth of experience working with vulnerable people with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
  • A deep understanding of evidence-based practices and the latest occupational therapy interventions.
  • Proven ability to juggle a caseload effectively, with prioritisation skills that would make a circus performer proud.
  • The knack for working autonomously while inspiring a person-centred approach in your colleagues.
  • Stellar communication skills, capable of liaising with external professionals and advocating fiercely for our customers' needs.
