Job Description: We seek an experienced Active Directory Recovery Specialist to maintain and secure our clients' Active Directory environments. You will be responsible for developing and implementing recovery strategies, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring business continuity. This role is crucial in preventing data loss, minimizing downtime, and maintaining business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implement Recovery Plans: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Active Directory recovery plans and procedures to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.
Perform Audits and Health Checks: Regularly conduct audits and health checks on Active Directory environments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and issues.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Diagnose and resolve Active Directory-related issues, including replication problems, authentication failures, and Group Policy application errors.
Document Procedures: Maintain detailed documentation for recovery procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Active Directory with other systems and applications.
Provide Training and Support: Offer training and support to IT staff and end-users on Active Directory best practices, recovery procedures, and security measures.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Active Directory and disaster recovery.
Malware Detection and Response: Implement and manage security protocols to detect and respond to malware threats within Active Directory environments.
Linux System Integration: Support the integration and management of Linux systems within the Active Directory environment.
Forensic Analysis: Conduct forensic analysis to investigate security incidents and breaches, ensuring the integrity and security of Active Directory.
Network Skills: Utilize strong networking skills to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues affecting Active Directory performance and security.Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in managing and recovering Active Directory environments.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of Active Directory architecture, replication, and Group Policy management.
Experience with Active Directory recovery tools and techniques.
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and related technologies.
Proficiency in malware detection and response.
Experience with Linux systems and their integration with Active Directory.
Forensic analysis skills for investigating security incidents.
Strong networking skills.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.
