About The Team: In this role, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of food safety and product quality systems on the site. You are also responsible for leading the technical team, whilst ensuring that compliance standards are maintained to auditing standards. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance our quality standards. What You Will Be Doing: ● Manage and develop a team to meet KPIs, enhance performance, and maximize potential ● Model company values and handle daily team inquiries, coordinating with HR and training as needed ● Develop and maintain quality systems to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards ● Investigate raw material issues, perform inspections, and review technical procedures, updating as necessary ● Build strong supplier relationships and manage stock in quarantine areas effectively ● Analyze production and safety data to identify trends and improvement opportunities ● Lead continuous improvement efforts and ensure sustained Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance, actively addressing concerns ● Solve problems and escalate as needed, ensuring adherence to SOPs and coordinating support functions ● Conduct audits, support ad hoc projects and promote company strategies like inclusivity and well-being initiatives Who You Are: ● Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, or similar role, within the food industry ● Proficiency in using quality management software or tools for data analysis and reporting ● HACCP level 3 & Food Safety Level 3 ● Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software ● Degree in food science, food technology or a related field preferred ● Proficiency in using G-Suite Software What you will get in return: ● 70% off HelloFresh or Green Chef boxes ● Company pension scheme ● Gym membership ● Bupa private medical insurance (including dental & family cover options) ● Electric vehicle scheme ● Mental health first aiders and an employee assistance programme ● Dog friendly office (London site only) ● If in the office, enjoy a free breakfast every day ● Eye care scheme ● Cycle to work scheme ● Group Life Assurance Location: HelloFresh UK | Unit 2, Collaboration Way | Smartparc | Derby | DE21 7HW Working Schedule: Mon-Fri 8pm-5am (night shift), however will be working Wed-Sat 7pm-7am (night shift) to start with Next steps: Your application will be reviewed and if successful, a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch within 2 weeks.
