About the role:

We have an exciting, new opportunity for a Buyer to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team on a 9month fixed term contract basis.

What you'll get to work on:
Engaging with our knowledgeable stakeholders and suppliers
Executing sourcing strategies for contracts
Assessing suppliers and market trends for future contract opportunities and risk
Driving value by effectively delivering tender events
Scoping and developing contractual agreements to meet Cadent’s needs
Leading supplier relationship management Who are we looking for: Qualifications
Relevant commercial / procurement experience Practical Experience
Experience of sourcing and other procurement activities (contract management experience, understanding of cost management and commercial principles, leading supplier meetings including negotiations etc.)
Confident with data and insights
Experience in supporting process improvements to improve the customer experience
A well established communicator at all levels
