The client has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Miller to join their team. This position is well-suited to a person who is ideally having CNC Miller
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
* Program CNC machines using Mazak controls
* Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications
* Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth production process
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise machining processes
* Mentor and train junior machinists as needed
Requirements:
CNC machining and programming
* Proficiency Mazak controls
* Strong knowledge of CNC milling and turning processes
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Day-to-day
* Setting up CNC machinery for production runs
* setting and operating CNC machines
* Conducting quality checks and measurements
* Communicating with engineering and production teams to optimise processes
either Day shift or nights 6pm-6am Mon-Thurs
