The Contracts Manager provides professional legal support services to Operations & Sales to assure timely processing of all contract reviews across the UK and Africa Caspian region, whilst at the same time mitigating risk to the business & maximizing benefits where possible.

About the rolenThe primary responsibilities of this role include:nReview and revise standard & non-standard contract terms and conditions and agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements for the regionnResponsible for negotiating contracts with customers in line with company standards and guidelines.nProvide legal support services to Operations and Sales teams to mitigate risks and maximise benefits for TEAM through all contracts and agreementsnAnalysis of contract customer data to support Operations & Sales in up-selling Products and Services to maximise contract potential.nResponsible for maintaining, organizing, and tracking contracts through approval process.nResponsible for pro-actively managing TEAM’s contracts lifecycle management from submission to execution and storage.nCompile information to prepare periodic and strategic reports and maintain contract database.nPrepare documents and obtain authorised signatures for negotiated contracts.nWork closely with the Corporate legal department to enforce legal policies.nCollaborates with Eastern Hemisphere Commercial Team to expedite time sensitive reviews, contracts, bids, or proposals.nDevelops and maintains reporting capability on contract lifecycle management workflow transactions and repository as required. This could include cycle times, submission rates, reporting requirements, or other data points designed to improve business process efficiencynResponsible for managing and coordinating contract bid proposals & tenders across the region.nTo be flexible and carry out any duties within your skills and capabilities.nLiaise with customers in an approachable, friendly, and helpful manner with thorough follow up to establish good working relationships and promote healthy communications and feedback between parties.nActively promote the Core Values within all work-based activities.
About younTo be successful in this role, you will need:nExcellent written and verbal communication skillsnOrganised with an ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlinesnMust be a strong team player with a proactive, meticulous and enthusiastic approachnHigh level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel and WordnHigh level of reading comprehension, including legal documents and T&Cs - essentialnExceptional understanding of legal principles and genuine interest in commercial, legal or business fieldsnQualified with a degree in a relevant discipline and previous experience working in a similar role is requirednParalegal or Contract Administration certification preferred.
