The Role: Industrial Waste Water Chemist
Location: South Wales
Salary: £40K - £45K DOE

Renowned as a leader in water hygiene, treatment, risk management, and compliance in both the public and private sectors, the business is expanding due to growing demand and operational needs. We are seeking an Industrial Waste Water Chemist to join their team in South Wales. Your Responsibilities:
·         Jar testing, recommending changes, reporting and communicating treatment performance in line with the customer’s needs and policies. ·         Complete COD analyses ·         Identifying opportunities for upgrades - whether this is chemical dosing equipment, training, analytical services or increased scope of supply. ·         Ensuring the service plan is defined and delivered ·         Finding, fixing or seeking solutions for any problems encountered. ·         Engaging with safe chemical delivery & storage procedures. ·         Calibrating personal & onsite equipment and generating certificates.·         Operating dosing pumps and changing dosing rates based on test results ·         Independently diagnosing issues found onsite and escalating or rectifying as required.
Your Skills & Experience:
·         Candidates from either a chemical analysis or service engineer background are preferred.·         Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biological background or equivalent scientific qualification.·         Meticulous attention to detail and organised.·         Ability to multitask and plan workload effectively·         Able to demonstrate great communication & interpersonal skills·         Great team player and willingness to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.·         Hold a valid UK driving licence
