Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive learning community.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
Requirements:
A degree in Science or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Science at secondary level is desirable but not essential for newly qualified teachers.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
