The Role – Learning Support Mentor
As a Learning Support Mentor, you will be supporting students aged 5 – 16, who have been either permanently excluded, or at risk of exclusion from a mainstream school. You will act as a mentor, equipping pupils with important life skills to succeed. The Learning Support Mentor will also possess tutoring skills, to help students fully engage with the curriculum. Previous mentoring or tutoring experience is crucial. Also, coaching experience within a sports background is also welcome.
