Salary/Rate: £35,000 to £45,000

If so, my client has many exciting projects and needs a creative Mechanical Design Engineer - Mechanisms to join their R&D team.
They design and manufacture a range of complex electro-mechanical products and are investing in R&D/product design.
  
This is an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer - Mechanisms to work in the product development team alongside various disciplines. Designing complex mechanisms with moving parts from the concept stage, you can suggest ground breaking ways to meet bespoke customer requirements, creating designs for low/medium volume with a focus on design for assembly.
Skills/Responsibilities required for the Mechanical Design Engineer - Mechanisms will include:
- Experience using Solidworks to amend and create innovative designs
- Able to deliver upon full project lifecycles whilst working to tight deadlines.
- Experience with castings and machined components
- It would be beneficial to have experience with Bill of Materials, Design for Manufacture and material selection
