The RolenThe business is launching a brand new SaaS product, so this role will be greenfield at its core. You’ll be revolutionising the businesses data management systems using cutting edge technologies within the AWS ecosystem.nWithin your role as a Cloud Database Administrator you’ll be responsible for driving innovation and collaboration with cross functional teams and be pivotal in designing, launching and overseeing AWS hosted SQL and noSQL databases to ensure seamless delivery globally.
Core SkillsnExtensive expertise in MySQL database administration, along with proficiency in AWS database services such as RDS and Aurora.nProficiency in NoSQL cloud-based solutions like DynamoDB and MongoDB.nSound knowledge of replication and high-availability techniques.nHands-on experience in database management focusing on performance, integrity, and security.nProficiency in query optimization and database lifecycle management.nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like HashiCorp Terraform and strong scripting skills (e.g., Python).nExperience with monitoring tools like AWS Performance Insights, AWS CloudWatch, or DataDog.
