Pricing Optimisation Contractor | Leading UK Insurer | Remote Contract: 6–12 months (Inside IR35) Start: ASAP (happy to wait for a Jan start) Day Rate: Up to £1,000 DoP Sector: Personal & Commercial Lines Insurance The Role We’re partnering with a leading UK insurer to bring in an experienced Pricing Optimisation Contractor . You’ll help shape and deliver data-driven pricing strategies across personal and commercial lines, supporting a wider transformation in pricing capability and technology. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll drive pricing optimisation and model improvements, run elasticity analysis and deliver performance-enhancing tests and scenarios. Working closely with data, underwriting, and product teams , you’ll turn analytical insights into actionable pricing decisions. Expect hands-on work with Radar, Emblem, SAS, Python or R to push the boundaries of pricing sophistication. What You’ll Need You’ll bring a strong track record in insurance pricing and optimisation , ideally across both personal and commercial lines. Confidence with optimisation tool, Radar Optimiser, is key, alongside solid technical ability in SAS, Python, R, or SQL . You’ll also be a clear communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
