OUR PRODUCTS:

The engineering team you’ll be joining are responsible for four main products:

  • Our (currently internal) SaaS platform (3D) where our insight team and our clients design surveys and analyse results
  • Our new, SaaS platform (2D), which is built for scale as a pure-tech product
  • Our productised API, which gives clients the ability to integrate 2D functionality into their own systems
  • Our web app (and iOS/Android apps) where people respond to surveys and engage with the ThisThat community

KEY REMITE:

You will be active in continuous rebuilds for scale and our ongoing and future projects including our new ‘2D’ SaaS platform, ‘2D’ API, ‘3D’ SaaS platform, automations (AI and algorithmic) and a rebuild of our social surveying web app. Our roadmap is ambitious and far reaching, but manageable. You will be working on projects that you can be proud of and will have a significant and meaningful impact in the business.


ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a hands-on senior backend developer with experience taking ownership of projects, code, database architecture, and scalability. You will need to be proactive, keen to learn and apply your existing knowledge, and hard-working. You will need to thrive in the startup environment where you have significant responsibility. You should be a super-star - someone who can learn quickly, take ownership, and is excited by responsibility and rapid innovation. We’re looking for people who are excited about the potential of influencer marketing and how technology can be used to drive increased growth and outcomes from campaigns. Bonus points if you have experience in the industry already


Your skills and experience

  • You must have strong experience with Typescript.
  • You should have experience with Node.JS, NestJS, relational databases and building scalable backend systems. You should also have experience building and maintaining a complex Multi-tenancy SaaS platform.
  • Ideally, you would have experience with Postgres, building and designing highly scalable database architectures, and managing servers through AWS/Azure/Google Cloud (Google Cloud preferable). As a bonus, you will also have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD in GitHub, GCP BigTable, TypeORM, Firebase, payments management, and complex authorisation/authentication systems.
