Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) provides pre-packaged analytic applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), built for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. Our Services deliver pre-built data models for ERP, HCM, SCM, and CX applications. Additionally, we have offerings that provide semantic layer KPIs and metrics, and modern visualizations that provide analytical and actionable insights to the Business User.

We are looking for Senior DevOps professionals to join our growing Oracle Analytics Applications Cloud Operations team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our critical cloud infrastructure, incident management, deployment automation across multiple production and preproduction environments, process improvements, and more.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesnSupport the operation of FAW on OCI using Cloud DevOps methodologies including:nIncident management: analyze T2 metrics, and alarms, alongside Lumberjack logs. Troubleshoot, repair, and document infrastructure and service issues.nStart / stop / upgrade cloud infrastructure and services using OCI tools.nParticipate in a follow-the-sun model for 24x7 support of FAW service.nManage and continuously improve existing FAW cloud capabilities and tools, with a focus on OCI tools, process, and configuration.nPerform daily tasks in accordance with process, compliance and regulatory standards.

Experience:nExperience with Cloud Platforms: Configuration, operations, tools and process.nProviding Cloud Platform networking, infrastructure, and service support.nMethodical approaches to troubleshooting and solving complex technical problemsnIssue tracking and collaboration (Jira and Confluence).nProducing documentation in support of developed work (KBs, run books, help guides).nLinux/Unix system administration including system level knowledge of Linux on Cloud Platforms, creating and executing scripts.nNetworking and TCP/IP fundamentals.nUtilizing agile methodologies.nGood interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.nWorking with remote, global teams as well as individuals.nWorking independently and in a self-directed manner.nCollaborating with software developers to optimize deployment processes.nAssisting with system troubleshooting and problem resolution.nDocumenting technical procedures and configurations.nMonitoring and supporting OCI Cloud infrastructure, including servers and databases.nChampioning a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the DevOps teamnGain and maintain UK Gov security clearance.

Preferred Qualificationsn4+ year experience of running large scale customer facing web services.nCloud Platform experience, such as OCI ,AWS, Azure, or GCP compute, storage, and network operational experience.nUnderstand internet networking services, such as DNS, HTTP, etc.nProgramming and scripting languages (Python, bash, Java Script - additional experience with Groovy, Java, and/or Go is a plus).nUsing CI/CD scripting tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.nContainers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, and docker-compose).nOracle database, MySQL (experience with MS SQL and/or NoSQL is a plus).nExcellent scripting skills in Bash and PythonnExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana is essential.nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesnExcellent communication and collaboration abilities
