This will be achieved by ongoing continuous performance improvement against KPIs, managing effective root cause analyses with Suppliers and tracking performance improvement against agreed timelines. There are 4 key elements to this role :nDUTIESn1)Food Safety CompliancenEnsuring that suppliers work to agreed product specifications.nReporting any gaps to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager (FSQA)nMentoring of suppliers and purchasing teamsnEnsure that suppliers adhere to food safety policies & proceduresn2)Complaints management :nDelivering improved quality and food safety performancenChallenging Suppliers on the root cause analyses of issues,nUndertake Quality Net complaints analysis, routine testing or other performance indicators;nInvestigate issues and deliver improvements;nmonitoring performance improvementsnLiaise with Purchasing team to engage and motivate Suppliers where this is a problem.n3)KPI Food Supplier ManagementnEnsuring Suppliers are aware of and are committed to delivery against KPIsnIdentify and improve any under-performance issuesn4)Ongoing Quality Assurance and food safetynWork to ensure that an effective handover is received to take QA responsibility after any product launch.nEnsuring that handovers are documented.nAny issues identified at handover have a clear action plan to resolve,nREQUIREMENTSnDegreenBI dashboardsnFood/Factory Auditor and HACCP experiencenFood QA backgroundnPackaging knowledge (not essential)nExperience in dealing with suppliers
