We are looking for Product Leaders that can help drive our product vision and help us to create great products that excite our customers.

At Open GI we are proud to deliver an ecosystem of products centered around our Policy Administration System (PAS) portfolio including Core, V Platform, and Mobius, as well as our Digital D2C services. The Head of Product will be the champion of both the Mobius Ecosystem and our Digital product suite, ensuring they match our vision and passion to serve our customer, deliver against their needs, and help them to be successful.

Responsible for innovation, owning the Mobius Ecosystem and Digital product strategy E2E, the Head of Product will play a central role in guiding the product development lifecycle. As a GI market expert, the Head of Product will understand the challenges that are faced by our customers, triangulating our strategy, customers needs, and product to deliver our aspirations.

Your key responsibilities

• Strategically manage and plan the Mobius Ecosystem & Digital to create value for OGI and our new & existing customers.
• Lead our evolution into a world-class SaaS product that supports the industry transformation.
• Own the vision, having intimate knowledge of the commercial and financial dynamics of Mobius.
• Have a voice in how our product lands in market, understand the value that it brings to customers, and support the sales team in delivering success.
• Translate OGI's product strategy into a vision and set of objectives, bringing our products to life through ownership, evangelism and helping to motivate and energise the team around you.
• Define, prioritise, and evangelise the roadmap; capturing requirements from a wide range of inputs, steering the product on its journey.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within OGI to deliver product strategies, collaboratively driving the vision, design, and execution of our PAS solutions.
• Be the key decision maker for the Mobius and Digital product set, focused on the products performance, and financial contribution to OGI.
• Manage, either directly or through a matrix relationship, the direction of the team working on Mobius & Digital ensuring high quality delivery and execution of the vision.
• Get out of the (virtual) building and learn from our customers: Be the authority on the problems that customers (and their customers) are facing. Have intimate knowledge of the problems that we are trying to solve and why solving them is valuable.
• Work with the technology/engineering teams to develop creative solutions to customer problems, needs and wants that generate effect ROI and deliver value to our customers when they need it.
• Pre-empt, whenever possible, and identify and resolve strategic issues, which may potentially impair the department's ability to meet the product's financial, strategic and technical goals.
• Define, measure, and monitor relevant KPIs to drive towards an aligned goal and to track progress to key milestones.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experiences (essential.)
• Master's degree in business administration, or similar (advantageous.)

Experience

• 15+ years General Insurance industry experience, ideally focused on high volume personal lines products (essential.)
• Product management, including proven line management experience.
• Demonstrable experience working Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) businesses.
• History of refining end-to-end product mission, strategy, and roadmap.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with high growth or transformative companies or high-growth software divisions within larger companies (advantageous.)
• Relevant product management experience in an agile / lean environment.
• Proven expertise defining stakeholder requirements for a product that delights customers.

• A passion for metrics and quantitative analysis; ability to extract meaning from data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, colleagues, and external vendors.
• Proficiency with Agile, Lean Product Management, Continuous Integration/Development (CI/CD) and related SDLC models.
• A track record of effectively working remotely with a globally dispersed team across multiple cultures, time zones and cities.
