Location: Yeovil (BA20)
Hourly rate: Negotiable
Hours of Work: 8am - 4.30pm
Type: Ongoing
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are working with an esteemed client of ours to find two labourers for 3 days of work this week and the whole of next week in Yeovil (BA20). Possibility of work thereafter also.
Generic Duties of a Labourer
In this role you will be working in a team to complete all daily tasks. Reporting to the site manager, you will be responsible for:
Performing general maintenance of construction equipment on the site.
Performing setup and clean-up tasks on site.
Assist site manager with any jobs as deemed reasonable
Specific Duties of this role
Assisting stripping out as it's a refurbishment project.
Skills and experience of a labourer
As a labourer, you need have experience with;
They should be able to work well as part of a team but also be able to work independently
The ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
It would be beneficial to the Labourer role if you also had;
Experience working on similar sites
General knowledge of building and construction practices
The ability to remain calm under pressure
